IEC is about to begin dialysis services to inpatients and outpatients. Renal failure has become rampant in the Kingdom and there are not many facilities providing this services resulting in a huge waiting period and lots of inconvenience in case of missing appointments.
In order to remove its dependency on hospitals to provide dialysis services to its patients, and further to ease the stay of IEC's long term care patients, IEC is targeting to get its dialysis services started by the end of January 2014. Since it would also be open to outpatients, it would relieve the burden of overcapacity utilization of dialysis centers in hospitals.
