Al-Babtain Industrial Group established Al Babtain Biscuit Manufacturing & Food Stuff Company Limited (ABISCO) in 1983 with considerable experience and expertise in manufacturing, marketing and management, and it is considered as the first food manufacturing plant within the Group. This company was formed to serve the food market in Saudi Arabia and the region, and to be one of the leaders in these markets manufacturing biscuit and other food products.

Being a part of the self-sufficiency food program in the Kingdom, is one of the Group’s main objectives. Based on a comprehensive expansion plan, the factory has passed through different development stages, in order to fulfill the increasing demand & consumption of the market, starting in early 1984 with wide range production line of high quality Biscuits, Crackers and Cookies under different brands.
