Application for the post of Ass. Commercial Manager/ Sr. Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager

Duties and Responsibilities.

• Reporting to Commercial Manager and responsible for commercial activities.
• Responsible for subcontract management, payment assessments, payment certification and
variation orders.
• Analysing completed work and prepare the internal cost report.
• Preparation of monthly valuations based on the progress.
• Taking off quantities based on Drawings (AutoCAD) and preparation of material schedule.
• Dealing with consultants’ queries and day to day commercial activities.
• Prepare Contractor’s cost proposal for Claims and Variations with contract manager
• Updating site material delivery and maintain the schedule for monthly MOS Claims.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Preparation of Feasibility Study Report
• Preparation of Preliminary project estimates (cost plans)
• Assisting to choose proper procurement methods for works to be carried out
• Preparation of FIDIC based Condition of Contract
• Preparation and Compilation of Tender documents
• Supporting/ coordinating with project team post tender queries
• Taking off quantities and Preparation of BOQ
• Evaluating and certifying contractor’s payment certificate
• Handling Variations/ change orders and claims
• Prepare cash flow forecast
• Maintain the Records of Performance Bonds, Payment Guarantees and insurances

Key responsibilities:
• Preparation of Monthly Statement (IPA).
• Handling Variations.
• Preparation of new unit rates from first principles.
• Preparation of Subcontract Documents.
• Check sub-contractors Bill.
• Attendance and Participation at Site Meetings in addition to Progress Meetings.

Key responsibilities:
• Preparation of Monthly Statement (IPA).
• Handling Variations/ change orders and claims (such as EOT, Acceleration)..
• Preparation of new unit rates from first principles.
• Preparation of Subcontract Documents.
• Assist procurement department with scoping of subcontract packages and furnishing the
correct documentation such as specification, drawings & BOQ etc.
• Preparation of subcontract agreement, ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all r
relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support
implementation.
• Evaluating & certifying subcontractor progress of works for interim evaluation.
• Preparing interim payment certificate to subcontractor works.
• Managing and monitoring of all contra charges related to main contract and Subcontracts
• Monitor delays and damages as per the contract and penalize the contractor accordingly.
• Manage the QS team
• Conduct site visits; attend meetings with Client, Sub contractors, suppliers, and government
agencies
