Geoyechnical Engineer/ Geologist

As Geologist/Geotechnical engineer experienced at hydropower construction projects that include tunneling & slopes works which contains slope stability using rock ground investigation, geological studies and hydrological studies, risk analysis, borehole logging, test pit logging and sampling, excavation by drill and blast, Prob-hole drilling and logging, Installation and monitoring of instruments, Field tests, water pressure test, permeability test, SPT, curtain grouting and consolidation grouting by GIN method near reservoir area for ground water seepage control and ground improvement, quality control assurance. Diverse experience in stability monitoring, geomorphological mapping, geological mapping and rock support recommendation using RMR and Q-system at slopes and tunnels of powerhouse area, reservoir area, headrace tunnel, temporary/Adit tunnels, drainage tunnels, side valleys along the headrace tunnel, Underground powerhouse, vertical shaft, open channel and foundation of DAM-site and support installation at slopes and tunnels. Using Civil 3D for digitization of geological map at tunnels and slope, Core logs, Grouting logs, Preparation of shop drawings, cross-section, updating design drawings w.r.t site geological conditions, preparation of continuity sheets for geological mapping, and photomontage.
