Our client is set to become a renowned space observatory in Saudi Arabia as one of the largest Astro-Tourism/Research Destination globally.
- Develop a product placement strategy that aligns with the observatory's mission and enhances the visitor experience.
- Curate and select merchandise, including books, telescopes, apparel, and souvenirs, that resonate with visitors and reflect the observatory's brand identity.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favourable terms and maintain a diverse and high-quality product inventory.
- Create visually appealing displays and merchandising layouts to attract and engage visitors.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and optimize sales opportunities.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify product performance trends and adjust product selection and placement accordingly.
- Work closely with the Visitor Experience Manager and other team members to integrate product placement strategies into visitor programs and events.
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in product placement and merchandising to continuously improve the visitor experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in product placement, merchandising, or retail management.
- Proven track record in curating and promoting products in a customer-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of consumer behaviour and market trends in the tourism and astronomy industry.
- Knowledge of astronomy-related products and merchandise is highly desirable.
