Key Accountabilities · Support colleagues with the day-to-day operational activities of the department · Support in the roll out and execution of projects · Drive compliance with all internal, external policies and procedures · Participate in formal and informal training designed to give an understanding of how the department operates · Embrace the opportunities to expand your network and develop leadership skills As the role develops, activities may include; · Preparing external and internal presentations · Financial analysis, modeling, and industry research · Business evaluation and strategic assessment of proposals · Client engagement in partnerships with Relationship Managers Stakeholder Management • The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills due to direct interaction with colleague and partners across business areas and locations, as well as potential external client engagement. • Takes into account the bank’s reputation at all times, through positive interactions with others, and by following process, policy and regulation, escalated issues and concerns in a timely manner • Takes time to understand the needs and/or circumstances of each stakeholder they interact with. • Goes the ‘extra mile’ for colleagues and customers, delivering above and beyond what is expected • Build and maintain strong relationships and mutual trust with all colleagues and customers Decision-making and Problem Solving · Responds and resolves issues arising out of work or from within the team · Carefully considers the short term and long term impacts when offering ideas or solutions · Suggests practical ways to improve the work, have a positive impact on customer and colleagues and wider society, and applies these where appropriate.
