The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) was created in accordance with a resolution of the Council of Ministers from 07/01/1424 H. It is an autonomous body that is answerable directly to the President of the Council of Ministers. The SFDA's goal is to ensure the safety of food, drugs, and biological, chemical, and electronic products for humans and animals alike.
