The National Energy Services Company (Tarshid) was founded to promote and enhance energy efficiency initiatives in Saudi Arabia. The company was the result of a joint venture between the Saudi Energy Efficiency Program (SEEP), local authorities and international energy organizations, and has been successful in creating powerful energy efficiency solutions in the country. Tarshid is mandated to retrofit all public buildings and institutions with the aim of transforming the energy efficiency sector from a nascent industry to a flourishing one with the help of the most modern and proficient companies.
