Wadi Makkah company, established under Royal Decree No. (M/32) dated 03/04/2012 with a capital of one hundred million riyals (SR100.000.000), is fully owned by Umm Al Qura University (UQU). Its main purpose is to contribute to the development of a knowledge-based economy in Saudi Arabia, by facilitating collaboration between educational and research institutions, and business communities. Wadi Makkah company focuses on technology localization, development, and transfer for the benefit of the national economy and sustainable development.
