Key responsibilities would include

- Strategic Sourcing: Developing and executing procurement strategies to acquire goods and services required for water and waste water projects, ensuring they are cost-effective and aligned with the company's sustainability goals

- Vendor Management: Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing performance to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and services.

- Technological Innovation: Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to identify and integrate innovative technologies that enhance efficiency and sustainability in water and waste water management processes.

- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards, while also identifying and mitigating risks associated with the supply chain.

- Cost Optimisation: Continuously evaluating procurement processes and expenditures to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and environmental sustainability.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to align procurement activities with overall business objectives and project requirements.

- Sustainability Integration: Integrating sustainability considerations into procurement practices by seeking out environmentally friendly products and suppliers, promoting responsible sourcing practices, and supporting the company's commitment to environmental stewardship.
