The client is a leading pharmaceutical distributor based in Saudi Arabia, committed to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical products to health-care providers across the region.


Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement strategic plans to drive private sales growth and achieve business objectives.

Provide visionary leadership to the sales team, aligning efforts with company goals.

Team Management:

Supervise and lead a team of 5 direct managers and 82 employees across four different locations.

Evaluate, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team.

Sales Performance:

Monitor and analyse sales metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.

Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies.

Financial Management:

Achieve growth in total projected sales and collection within the first 12 months.

Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales and collection data.

Inventory Management:

Implement strategies to reduce tender inventory value.

Work with the Supply Chain Team to optimise inventory levels and minimise carrying costs.

Sales Cycle Optimisation:

Collaborate with the Supply Chain Team to ensure the timely shipment of goods.

Monitor and control the picking process.

Work Environment and Process Improvement:

Maintain a healthy and productive work environment for the sales team.

Review and enhance work processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Team and Organisational Development:

Evaluate the needs, capabilities, and workload of the team.

Propose and implement an organisational development plan based on the review.

Corporate Projects:

Ensure the timely implementation of corporate projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Compliance:

Ensure that all sales activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.

Stakeholder Relations:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams.


Education and Professional Qualifications:

Holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field (Essential).

Ideally possesses a Master of Business Administration (Desirable).

Demonstrates a strong academic and professional background in pharmaceutical sales and distribution.

Experience:

Brings a minimum of 12 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related field, showcasing a progressive career path.

Has a proven track record of successful leadership roles with increasing responsibilities.

Leadership and Management Skills:

Demonstrates exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, mentor, and lead a diverse team.

Has experience supervising multiple subordinates across different locations.

Sales and Financial Acumen:

Possesses a deep understanding of pharmaceutical sales processes and strategies.

Demonstrates a track record of achieving sales targets and managing financial metrics effectively.

Strategic Thinker:

Displays strategic thinking and the ability to develop and implement plans that align with organisational goals.

Can foresee market trends and proactively adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Project Management:

Ideally has project management skills to oversee and execute corporate projects as scheduled.

Can effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Inventory Management and Supply Chain Understanding:

Understands inventory management principles and has experience in optimising inventory levels.

Collaborates effectively with the Supply Chain Team to streamline processes.
