The Senior Treasury Officer is vital in enhancing treasury management functions. Responsibilities include overseeing cash, working capital, and Bank Relationship Management.
Key tasks involve processing daily payments, forecasting cash flow in multiple currencies, determining daily liquidity levels, and actively contributing to decisions on forex operations and investments.
This role is pivotal in supporting management by providing crucial financial insights and ensuring sound financial decision-making.
Key Accountabilities
- Daily Treasury Operations:
- Support day-to-day treasury operations.
- Execute and monitor payment transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle the opening of new bank accounts and manage existing accounts effectively.
- Hande the letter of credit and bank guarantee.
- Bank Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks.
- Regularly review the performance and services of partner banks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all banking-related matters.
- Treasury Management System (TMS):
- Utilize Treasury Management System (TMS) to streamline and automate treasury processes.
- Ensure the TMS is effectively utilized for cash management and reporting.
- Foreign Exchange (FX) & Hedging:
- Support the head of treasury operations to manage foreign exchange transactions and exposure.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Support on compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to treasury activities.
Professional Experience
- Up to 5 years’ experience, global institution, big 4 accounting firm, or the Treasury function of a large corporate.
- Knowledge of Project Management, strong presentation and analytical skills required.
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a leading undergraduate institution in the field of finance or accounting.
- Formal certification from the ACT, CTP, or MBA in Finance is desirable.
Skills
- Highly skilled at application of MS Excel and other MS Office products including PowerPoint and Word, financial modelling, and presentation to senior management.
